Visit the official website - First, you need to open the official website of the Transport Department https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/ in any browser on your mobile or desktop/laptop.
Navigate to Informational Services - On the homepage, you will see a menu bar at the top with the option "Informational Services". Click on it to open the dropdown menu.
Select Know Your Vehicle Details - From the dropdown menu, click on "Know Your Vehicle Details" among the various options available.
Login or Register - A new page will open where you need to login using your mobile number. If you are new, you need to first register by clicking on "Create Account".
Complete Registration - On the Vahan NR e-Services homepage, enter your mobile number and email ID correctly and submit the OTP. Then create a new password by entering your name and password, and click the Save button.
Login to Portal - After successful registration, login to the Transport Department portal using your mobile number and OTP.
Enter Vehicle Details - After login, the "RC Status" page will open. Enter all the required information such as Vehicle Number and verification code correctly.
